5 Beauty Products I Can't Live Without

Hey girls!
Maja and me (Emma) decided to each write a list of products we can't live without, so there you have it. We featured some of our favourite beauty products and skincare, which we use daily or almost every day. No product here is sponsored, we are not getting paid to review this, so my words are sincere and true. I've purchased every product with my own money.

1. UniqOne Hair Treatment by Revlon

Benefits: Repairs dry and damaged hair, shine and frizz control, heat protection, silkiness and smoothness, hair colour protection, easier brushing, detangling, long-lasting hairstyle, split ends prevention, adds body.
How to use: On wet hair: Spray from a distance of 20cm on dry hair, detangle with a comb, blow-dry or air-dry. On dry hair: Spray into the palm of your hand, rub the product between your hands and apply to hair from mid-lengths to ends.  DO NOT RINSE!
Fragrances: Classic, Coconut, Lotus
Price: around 15 Euros, depends on where you buy it, retails only in hair salons and online
Shelf life: 12 months after opening

I have really thick hair and therefore have a lot of problems with detangling and brushing through my hair when its wet. Only 4 pumps of this spray leaves my hair so easy to detangle, smooth and smelling really nice. It adds just a bit of shine and body.
I have started using this product since I started dying my hair for the purpose of protecting my colour and preventing split ends, which i had many because of the frequent dying. I couldn't believe this product actually does what it says on the bottle!
One bottle lasts me for around 3 months and i use it every time i wash my hair.

2. The BeautyBlender sponge applicator

About: Unique, latex-free, scent-free, super-soft material know as hydrophilic foam and it ensures that makeup sits on top of the sponge and is not absorbed by the sponge for less makeup waste. Beautyblender uses safe, water-soluble dyes that do not harm the environment and will maintain the integrity of their proprietary foam. For this reason, you may notice some colour run off or wash away the first time you wet beautyblender. This is normal and will disappear after you have cleansed the product several times. The colour does not transform to your face or clothing.
Price: 20$ but depends on where you buy it
Colours: Pink, White, Black, Nude, Purple, Red, Light Pink and Swirl
How to use: wet the sponge with water, squeeze out the excess liquid, bounce any product across the face for a flawless result. Use with foundations, powders and any other complexion product.

When do you need to replace it?
It is recommended to replace your sponge every 3 months, but I replace it every 6 months.

I've tried many makeup brushes for applying foundation and was always left with streaks on my face. For a long time I searched for something new. I've tried many knock-off sponges but just didn't get the result I wanted. The sponges were all so stiff and would absorb so much foundation. After i tried the beautyblender sponge my mind was absolutely blown! How could something so small apply makeup so perfect and seamless? I use it to apply my wet foundation and after to bake with translucent powder.
The only sponge that could compare is the Real Techniques one, which is a bit less expensive but not so durable.




3. Makeup Factory- Oil free foundation

About: This travel friendly oil-free foundation creates a matte skin appearance. Special oil-binding substances reduce the the oily shine in key skin areas. The foundation has a light texture for even application creating a matte finish for a smooth complexion with less visible pores. Hyaluronic acid keeps the skin moist and fresh. Contains vitamin E and free of mineral oil.
Price: 20€ (in Müller) and 29$ on their official site
Shades: A big arrangement of cool toned and warm toned shades

As you can see from the picture i'm already out of this product.
Because of my oily skin (with some dry spots) this foundation suits perfect for me. It is so lightweight I sometimes forget that I am wearing makeup. It is not high coverage so some of my skin imperfections don't get covered but I don't mind that because it gives me such a natural look and doesn't leave me with a caked face full of makeup.
I always apply this foundation with my makeup sponge and it leaves no streakes. This foundation performs better with a face primer. It doesn't soak into your pores and leaves you with a natural matt finish. And one more good thing: it doesn't oxidise I think I've repurchased this foundation more than 4 times and 1 bottle lasts me for 6 months.




4. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

About: This All-in-1 cleanser is surprisingly powerful yet gentle to skin. It effectively removes makeup, cleanses and refreshes skin. A multi-purpose cleanser that contains Micellar technology. Like a magnet, micelles capture and lift away dirt, oil and makeup without harsh rubbing, leaving skin perfectly clean, hydrated and refreshed without over-drying.
How much product do you get: 400ml/13.5 fl oz.

How to use: TO REMOVE EYE MAKEUP: Hold pad over closed eyes for a few seconds, then gently wipe without harsh rubbing.
TO CLEAN SKIN & REMOVE FACE MAKEUP: Gently wipe all over until skin is completely clean from makeup and impurities. Use daily, AM/PM. No need to rinse.
Price: 9$ again depends on where you buy it
Colours: Pink cap- washable makeup remover, Blue cap- for waterproof makeup, Green cap- for oily skin.

It is not greasy and removes all makeup residue so easily and leaves my face feeling fresh and clean. It also does a great job with removing waterproof makeup. It does not contain any alcohol so it's gentle to the skin. 

If you don't wear makeup you could just use it to remove the extra oils off of your skin. After you have cleaned your face with it there is absolutely no rinsing needed.

5. Too Faced- Chocolate Bar Palette

About: The chocolate experience begins as soon as you open the package, you are literally hugged with a soothing smell of chocolate which is not overpowering. The shades are earthy colours, they are soft, have great pigmentation and absolutely no fall out. You get 16 shades in this palette.
Price: 49$ which is 3$ for one shade

It offers a nice arrangement of matte and shimmery colours, which are great for a everyday look. You simply cannot go wrong with buying this palette, I need to say it is a must-have if you like everyday subtile looks. The mirror inside is also of good quality but unfortunately it does not come with a brush. But this is not a huge drawback- you still get 16 shades for the price of 49$. 
The shades are beautiful and very pigmented. I can create many looks with it for any occasion. It also smells so good. Definitely recommend to anyone interested in makeup. The packaging is also adorable and I think packaging is very important when buying makeup products.
